Charity Link’s success can be measured in terms of the level of assistance we are able to provide to West Australians in need. Despite tremendous growth in the terms of the number of people requesting assistance, Charity Link has provided material aid to almost 90,000 individuals since 2002. The combined value of this aid is estimated to be more than $5 million. The contribution of Charity Link’s collaborative annual appeals to Western Australia was also acknowledged in November 2003, when we were awarded a Community Services Industry Award in the category of ‘Building the Capacity of the Community Services Industry’.
