‘LINK IN-KIND’ – Donations In-Kind Goods
Link In-Kind is a new initiative for Western Australia.
With significant taxation benefits, businesses with goods that match key needs during our two annual appeals can participate by donating food stuffs, toys or blankets/doonas can donate product on an in-kind basis. In return our ‘Deductible Gift Recipient Status’ can provide a tax-deductible receipt for 100% of the cost of the product.
Typically, new product that may be shop soiled, incorrectly labelled or packaged goods which would otherwise be destroyed at significant cost to your organisation can be donated and be distributed to those in need.
Donating to our ‘Link In-Kind’ program means:
- Tax savings ...100% cost of donated products;
- Free management of donation program;
- Reduction of inventory carrying and handling costs;
- Positive public recognition; and
- Support for the communities where you do business
- Contributions can be made from manufacturing sites, distributors and retail outlets and we ensure that products cannot be sold, traded or bartered and must be used solely to support the mission of its non-profit members.
So you can free your organisation of the product, be acknowledged publicly as the product donor and receive a tax benefit to 100% retail value of the product.
