Charity Link ‘Workplace Giving’

How you can help more than 100 WA charities and thousands of West Australians each week.

Recent changes to taxation rulings have provided wonderful opportunities for Charity Link to build partnerships between business, individuals and the community through 'Workplace Giving'.

How Does Workplace Giving Work?

The Charity Link 'Workplace Giving' program means your employees can request an amount to be withheld from their pay for Charity Link donation.  Donations are deducted each pay period direct from your gross salary, by arrangement with your employers payroll department.

In this way, employees no longer have to wait until they receive their tax returns to benefit from the tax deduction associated with their donations to Charity Link because your donations are processed through your pay which means an immediate, hassle-free tax deduction!

Donations over $2 are tax deductible* and 100% of the donations collected by your organisation go to the relevant appeal and therefore to our members in material aid.

Benefits to Workplace Giving include:

  • good corporate citizenship;
  • low cost of administration;
  • improved employee morale;
  • recognition as a Charity Link 'Workplace Giving' supporter.

How can I get involved?

As an employee, if your organisation is not part of the 'Workplace Giving' program and you would like to donate, you can contact Charity Link for information on how to set up one or alternatively ask for a direct debit form.
